what will you be doing?

  • The Regional Financial Controller plans, organizes and coordinates all operations within the accounting cycle. 
  • He/she will monitor and ensure compliance of all transactions, oversee the performance and reliability of all financial and accounting data related to operations in Western Canada.
  • The candidate will work closely with various members of the administrative office located in Quebec City.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements 
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting quarterly reports for the partners
  • Responsible for managing the cash flow 
  • Ensure the respect of accounting procedure/processes and internal audit for buying and revenue cycles as well as end of month  
  • Prepare operational budgets
  • Coordinate the workload of the Accounts Receivable Technician
  • Support the construction team during the construction period


Do you have the right qualification?

  • Business Administration BA, Accounting Specialist, CPA
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as Financial Analyst or Controller in the hotel industry; an asset
  • Experience working in a Head Office
  • Highly motivated to learn
  • Skilled multitasker
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong autonomy, discipline, proactivity and ownership
  • Ability to achieve macro-level perspective and to prioritize
  • Bilingual: English-French
