Our fast growing company is currently hiring Call Center agents, the role of the Safety Operation Center Agent is to provide a professional and timely service for our customers. Time is of the essence when an injury occurs and fast, responsive service is critical.

In the event of an emergency the Safety Operation Agent position demands excellent communication skills, speed and empathy while connecting customers with Police/Fire/Ambulance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the safety of our customers
  • Ability to manage alerts and follow escalations in a professional and precise manner
  • Respond to emergency situations in a calm and effective manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and show empathy when required
  • Follow and understand follow oral and written directions
  • Maintain records and prepare reports
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and technical support when an alert is triggered
  • Monitor weather and road conditions where customers are working alone to keep them informed of potential issues

Required Skills:

  • Fluent written & spoken English & French is required
  • Written or spoken Spanish would be an asset
  • Strong work ethic to maintain a high volume of client interactions
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency using a computer and new technologies
  • Work independently with little direction
  • Ability to organize work flow and use time efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
  • Flexibility with working schedules
  • Exceptional judgment, common sense and decision-making ability

Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service / Dispatch role would be an asset
  • Valid First Aid and CPR
