Job Description

Do you love leading performance-driven marketing campaigns and look for a new challenge? ECO Canada is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and implement marketing campaigns for our portfolio of programs. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the successful candidate will be self-starting, thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and have a passion for creating impactful campaigns that deliver results. Managing a team of two to three resources, you will need to apply your technical and managerial skills to successfully lead program marketing objectives with the team. While each member of the team has individual responsibilities, the team at ECO is required to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives.


Digital Marketing

  • Drive brand awareness strategy and integrate with performance-based marketing campaigns
  • Own all digital audience growth and be responsible for driving conversions and leads across all stages of the funnel
  • Grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action and landing pages targeted to each audience segment and the digital platforms where they can be found
  • Set up, management and optimization of search engine marketing, display, video and social media campaigns
  • Stay current with best practices on marketing tactics using knowledge to impact campaign goals

Marketing Automation & Lead Nurturing

  • Oversee the marketing automation activities, ensuring that the email strategy aligns with messaging requirements and campaign objectives
  • Work with the team to ensure onboarding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Click Dimensions integration is effective and timely
  • Create drip nurturing campaigns for each of our audience segments to better personalize and target based on intent and purchase decision factors

Website Optimization

  • Optimize website and landing page content based on relevant search engine optimization best practices
  • Leverage user experience fundamentals to develop page content that minimizes visitor barriers and entices action-oriented engagement such as new subscribers or product leads
  • Execute minor and ad-hoc website development changes through the WordPress CMS and Visual Composer

Networking Events & Conferences

  • Assist training team with execution of in-person events and conferences including tasks such as collateral development, and message syndication
  • Support webinar fulfillment where needed in terms of generating landing page content and advertising requirements
  • Ensure that events and conference strategy align with marketing approach
  • Manage inventory of event swag and collateral development with support from external vendors


  • Maintain dashboard of marketing campaigns including promotions across Email, Google AdWords, industry publications, newswire platforms, company website, LinkedIn, Facebook or other relevant online platforms
  • Managing budgets of up to $1M per year in media spend and management
  • Regular measurement of ROI and other metrics within MS Excel and other online dashboards

  • Experience in the environmental or human resources industry an asset


  • Bachelor’s Degree related to Marketing or Business is preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns
  • Familiar with a range of digital platforms including Google Analytics, MailChimp, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Eventbrite, YouTube or other similar.
  • Knowledge of HTML and web development tools specific to WordPress CMS
  • Experience with InDesign and Photoshop an asset
  • Hands-on expertise with Google AdWords and Social Media campaign platforms
  • Experience in CRM specifically Microsoft Dynamics and Click Dimensions integration
