Job Description:

You will be responsible for locating, ordering, receiving and verifying parts and ensuring incorrect or damaged parts are returned to the vendor and credits for the returns are monitored. The successful incumbent will effectively and efficiently perform his/her duties with the goal of expediting all repairs requiring parts and keeping the cycle time as low as possible.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Order all shop related parts and supplies
  • Maintain control of the parts room & inventory records
  • Responsible for all arriving parts and entering them
  • Label parts with part numbers and pricing
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to take service related calls & book service appointments
  • Initiate and complete service work orders
  • Manage winter work order scheduling
  • Contact customer after service is completed
  • Complete warranty documents
  • Ensure all special sales part requirements are handled (awning / generator etc.).
  • Work collaboratively with Sales team on delivery schedule
  • Work with Fleet team on warranty issues
  • Order Cleaning department supplies & complete P/O requirements
  • Organize all non-office material courier pick-ups
  • Other duties as assigned

Skill set, education and experience

  • Minimum of 3years RV/automotive parts experience running, organizing, maintaining and making improvements
  • Knowledge of Auto/RV body parts and the ordering process
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and locating new sources
  • Demonstrated strong computer/software proficiency, preferably with estimating systems
  • Intermediate skills in Excel required
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation
